Calibrate and roll extrudates with precision
The foil roller from Three-Tec is designed to enable precise calibration of flat, dry extrudates and convert round extrudates into films with a defined thickness. It includes an adjustable, temperature-controlled pair of rolls, an adjustable tension roll pair, and a rewinder or spool. The tension between the film rollers, draw rollers, and rewinder spool is adjustable thanks to a magnetic coupling. The foil roller is controlled via an integrated frequency converter and can optionally be integrated into a higher-level control system through an interface. These features make the foil roller particularly suited for applications requiring exact output, such as in materials processing and manufacturing industries.
