The THF / TCF Screw Feeders and Conveyors from WAMGROUP are designed to meet the unique requirements of the asphalt industry. These units handle both hot and cold filler dust, feeding from central dust filters to storage silos and then to the weigh hopper of mixing plants. The system is made of carbon steel with a suitable surface finish and includes universal inlet/outlet spouts, a helicoid screw flighting welded on a center pipe, and end bearing assemblies with self-adjusting seals. Critically, there are no intermediate bearings, which allows for wide spans in a piggyback configuration. The screw feeders come in a modular design for various performance and component configurations, using greased seals for handling different temperatures and conditions.
