Electrostatic filter for coffee roasting emissions

Coffee roasting can produce significant odors, smoke, and fine dust, which need to be managed to maintain a clean and compliant operation. Using an electrostatic filter helps to address these emission concerns effectively.

Filter grease, smoke, and fine dust

The SFE Filter by Giesen is an electrostatic filter specifically designed for use with coffee roasters in the W6 and W15A series. It works by charging suspended particles in the waste gas stream. These particles are then collected, charged, and separated. Through tapping, vibrating, or rinsing, the particles are detached from the electrode and discharged. The SFE25 model is suitable for W6 Series roasters and has a 14.2 m² collector surface with a weight of 60 kg. The SFE50 model fits W15A roasters, featuring a larger 28.4 m² collector surface and an 80 kg weight. Both models are CE Certified, ensuring compliance with European safety standards. The filter reduces over 90% of grease, smoke, and fine dust, thereby minimizing operational costs and making the roasting process cleaner.

Benefits

  • Reduces over 90% of emissions including grease, smoke, and fine dust
  • Lowers operational costs by minimizing waste emissions
  • Ensures compliance with CE certification standards
  • Compatible with W6 and W15A coffee roasters
  • Simple particle detachment and discharge mechanism
