Dewatering decanter for chemical and mineral processing
In chemical and mineral processing, separating liquids from solids efficiently poses significant operational challenges. Traditional methods often struggle to achieve clear separation and thorough dewatering simultaneously, affecting overall productivity and quality of the final product.

Ensures clear separation and efficient dewatering
The GEA Dewatering Decanter crudMaster is a specialized deep-pond, 3-phase decanter centrifuge designed for the chemical and mineral processing industries. The machine efficiently clarifies liquids and dewaters solids through centrifugal force. It features a solid-wall bowl with both cylindrical and conical sections, ensuring effective liquid clarification and solid dewatering. This system includes a centripetal pump for pressurized discharge of either the heavy or light liquid phase and uses drain tubes for the other liquid phase. It is constructed from high-alloyed duplex steels, super duplex steels, or Hastelloy C276, depending on the application, with gaskets made from compatible materials like NBR, FKM, FFKM, or EPDM. The decanter is also compatible with chemical cleaning after separation. For applications requiring strict safety and cleanliness standards, explosion-protected versions are available, meeting the European ATEX standard. The dewatering decanter operates at temperatures up to 130°C and incorporates the GEA summationdrive, which allows for high differential speeds and torques.
