Continuous wine flotation unit for must clarification

In medium to large wineries, producing high-quality wine requires efficient must clarification. Traditional methods can be slow and labor-intensive, making it difficult to consistently achieve clear musts. A continuous flotation process can streamline this task, ensuring rapid and thorough clarification.

Automates must clarification and lees removal

The Della Toffola FLCV wine flotation unit is a complete system designed for clarifying large quantities of musts or juices efficiently. Suitable for medium to large-scale wineries, it performs all necessary operations for effective flotation. The must is first treated with an appropriate adjuvant, then saturated with nitrogen or air to separate the lees, which ascend to the surface with the gas bubbles. The system includes a mechanical feature for constant lees removal, which can then be filtered using additional technologies. The unit is built on an AISI 304 stainless steel frame and includes a feed pump, peristaltic dosing pumps, a stainless steel circular tank with separate cells, and a variable-speed revolving system for lees extraction. Optional components like a raker and a turbidity meter enhance its functionality. Available models range from 200 to 300 hl/h capacity.
