Continuous-path arc welding robot
Ensuring high precision and speed in continuous-path applications like arc welding requires advanced technological solutions. Challenges include maintaining consistent weld quality and minimizing cycle times in complex, dynamic production environments.

Achieve precise continuous-path motion
The KR CYBERTECH nano ARC from KUKA is a specialized robot optimized for continuous-path tasks such as arc welding and applying adhesives or sealants. With its new controller structures, the robot offers extremely high path accuracy and speed. The ergonomic design with minimized disruptive contours ensures high-quality results even when operating deep inside workpieces. The robot can be mounted in any position—floor, wall, ceiling, or angled—providing maximum installation flexibility. Available with payload capacities of 6 and 8 kilograms and various reach options, the KR CYBERTECH nano ARC is versatile for numerous applications. Key features include a 50-millimeter hollow wrist for reduced main axis motion and short cycle times, enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, and a compact design for optimal space utilization in robotic cells. This line also reduces total cost of ownership (TCO) with maintenance-free axes for prolonged service life.
