Peel root vegetables efficiently

The Sormac knife peelers MS series are designed for the continuous peeling of pre-washed or pre-peeled root products, such as potatoes, red beet, and celeriac. A horizontal, rotating drum with a transport auger conveys the produce. The drum interior is lined with numerous knives, and the peeling effect can be controlled by adjusting the RPM of the drum and the speed of the auger. The drum’s special design and knife positioning prevent flat peeling, increasing peeling yield. Peeling waste is immediately separated and ejected via a waste funnel. The MS-20/Combi model includes pre-peeling plates, allowing it to handle unpeeled potatoes effectively.
