Continuous de-oiling system for metalworking chips

In metalworking industries, managing oily chips generated during machining processes is crucial for both environmental and operational efficiency. Traditional oil removal methods are often time-consuming and less effective, leading to higher disposal costs and potential workplace hazards.

Efficient de-oiling of metalworking chips

The AS Series by CEPA is a fully automatic, continuous de-oiling solution designed to handle short, pourable chips, including those made of aluminum and steel. It integrates seamlessly with a conveyor, feeding a steady stream of chips into the centrifuge from above. The series includes models AS 3 B-A and AS 5 (B-)A, with a throughput capacity ranging from 120 to 600 liters per hour. The centrifuges operate at speeds up to 2500 min-1, generating a relative centrifugal force (RCF) of up to 620 g for rapid and effective oil removal. The drum diameters of 178 mm and 500 mm ensure compatibility with various chip volumes, making the AS Series an ideal choice for high-efficiency de-oiling operations in metalworking environments.
