The system can handle cheese loaf diameters ranging from 160 to 450 mm and heights from 50 to 140 mm, with a maximum capacity of 100 blade strokes per minute. The pre-halved cheese loaf is placed on the infeed belt against a stop plate, and the actual halving or center cutout is conducted externally, typically using a machine like the HT II. The SC Basic utilizes ultrasonic technology to achieve precise segment cuts, ensuring quality and reducing waste. The cut segments are then transported out of the system efficiently.
