Carbonation system for beer and beer mix beverages

In the brewing industry, achieving consistent and precise carbonation levels in beer and beer mix beverages is crucial. Traditional methods can be time-consuming and may not ensure uniform carbonation throughout the product, leading to inconsistencies in taste and quality.

Ensures precise carbonation levels

The GEA DICAR-B is a carbonation system designed for the continuous high-accuracy carbonation of beer and beer mix beverages. This system includes a saturator, an in-line CO2-meter, and a CO2-monitoring valve, all mounted on a base frame. The CO2 content required for the beverage is set through an operator’s control and display unit. CO2 is added to the product via the saturator and then dispersed in the saturating pipe section to allow for physical absorption. The actual CO2 content is checked by the CO2 meter at the end of the saturating pipe section. The system ensures accurate carbonation with a precision of 0.1 g/l CO2 and supports simple integration into existing brewing systems due to its single-stage carbonation process. GEA is the supplier of the GEA DICAR-B carbonation system.
