Carbon and water analysis for lime and gypsum

In industries dealing with lime, gypsum, and cement, precise carbon and water content determination is critical. Standard methods often require complex sample preparation and extended analysis times, making it challenging to achieve accurate measurements efficiently.

Simultaneous Co2 and h2o determination

The CW-800M analyzer by ELTRA Elemental Analysers is designed for the fractional analysis of carbon and water in a single operation. This analyzer utilizes a modified furnace allowing rapid temperature adjustment to analyze different carbon and water fractions in samples. Capable of determining carbon (released as CO2) and water content in lime, gypsum, cement, ores, soil, minerals, slags, and waste, the CW-800M provides precise results from trace levels up to 100%. This system supports up to five programmable temperature steps, providing flexibility in sample analysis. An adjustable resistance furnace can achieve temperatures up to 1000°C. The detection system, featuring sensitive and reliable infrared cells, ensures highly accurate CO2 and H2O measurements. The system supports both oxidizing and inert atmospheres, making it versatile for different applications.

Benefits

  • Simultaneous CO2 and water determination minimizes sample preparation
