The Alfa Laval AS-H Belt Press G2 is a sludge dewatering unit designed for high-volume municipal and industrial applications. It delivers continuous dewatering by utilizing two porous filter belts. Key features include a unique sludge/polymer mixer valve that ensures the uniform mixing of polymers into sludge, resulting in higher cake dry solids and superior filtrate quality. This mixer valve reduces polymer consumption, eliminating the need for additional flocculator tanks or mixers. The SmartPress™ Belt Tensioning System automatically maintains belt tension for consistent operation, while the enclosed design contains odors, aerosols, and spillages. The unit also features variable drive technology, an optimised frame design in either galvanised carbon steel or stainless steel, and specialized rollers for effective pressure application in the full-pressure dewatering zone.
