The Apple Slicer by Kronitek is designed for precise apple coring and wedge slicing. This stainless steel (AISI 304) solution allows customization of the number of slices per apple, ranging from 4 to 12 pieces, by changing the cutting tool. Apples are loaded manually, then cored and sliced, with the pieces and cores sorted onto separate conveyor belts. The machine achieves a productivity rate of 500 kg/h with just two operators—one for supplying fresh apples and the other for handling the sliced wedges. An additional air compressor is necessary for operating the pressure cylinders. The equipment’s compact design (1960 x 900 x 1330 mm) and its capacity make it suitable for various small to medium-sized fruit processing operations.
