3-phase separating decanter for industrial fluids
In various industrial settings, dealing with waste oil, MARPOL liquids, and oily wastewater can be challenging due to the need for efficient separation of solids, water, and oil. Efficient separation processes are crucial to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to minimize disposal costs.

Efficiently separate solids, water, and oil
The 3-Phase Separating Decanter by GEA is a continuously operating centrifuge that features a horizontal solid-wall bowl specifically designed for treating waste oil, MARPOL liquids, waste emulsions, and oily wastewater. It incorporates an open-frame design with options for gravity or under pressure discharge of the clarified liquid phase. All product-contacting parts are made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. The shallow pond design and highest g-force capabilities provide maximum efficiency in separation. The innovative adjustable scroll drive, known as GEA summationdrive, allows for high differential speeds and high torques. This drive system features a variable speed motor that feeds energy into the process, enhancing efficiency without braking, and allows automatic adjustment of differential speed to accommodate fluctuating feed conditions. The decanter’s gentle feed geometry optimizes flocculation with low wear, while its compact design ensures easy maintenance and operation. GEA offers a range of automated control systems to further enhance the functionality of this decanter.
