Pneumatic vegetable press for large square cuts

In food processing, cutting vegetables like onions and paprika into uniform large squares is essential for products such as shaslicks and brochettes. Achieving consistent cut sizes with minimal manual labor presents a challenge.

Cut large vegetable squares efficiently

The PVP-300 is a pneumatically operated vegetable press from The Food Machinery Company Ltd, specifically designed to cut vegetables like onions and paprika into large squares. The press utilizes a knife grid and a pusher to achieve standard cutting sizes of 35 x 35 mm. By placing the product on its grid, the stainless steel cover is moved downwards, activating the pneumatic cylinder that pushes the vegetable through the grid. This process ensures precise, uniform cuts each time. Other cutting sizes such as 20 x 20 mm, 25 x 25 mm, and 30 x 30 mm can also be requested. The PVP-300 weighs 45 kg and requires an air pressure of 6–8 Bar, integrating safety features like a protective cover to prevent operator injury. Its compact dimensions (340 x 510 x 1100 mm) make it ideal for operations with limited space.
