Pneumatic rice polisher for enhanced grain quality

In rice processing facilities, improving the quality and appearance of rice grains is crucial. Traditional polishing methods often fall short, leaving rice with uneven surfaces and undesirable residues.

Enhance grain quality and appearance

The Pneumatic Polisher by Ugur Makine addresses these issues with an advanced polishing technology. This system utilizes embedded files to polish the surface of rice grains efficiently. Rice enters the polisher through an intake hopper, where a push screw moves the grains towards the processing chamber. Here, the rice is agitated by striking blades, causing it to rub against the embedded files, resulting in a polished appearance. The bran generated during this process is expelled through a pressure air system via sieve apertures. Adjustability of the rice brightness is achieved with a pressure cap at the grain exit hopper. By tightening the cap, brightness increases; loosening it decreases the shine. Operators must adjust the pressure cap setting to accommodate varying moisture content in the processed rice.

Benefits

  • Improves rice surface quality
  • Adjustable rice brightness for desired output
  • Efficient removal of bran residues
  • Consistent and uniform polishing
  • Adaptability to varying rice moisture levels
