The Auriga Pole Reel is a laser-guided vehicle designed by OCME (Aetna Group Italy) for the precise handling of industrial reels. It uses two types of gripping mechanisms: one where the forks unite to enter the core of the reel and lift it, and another involving the lifting of a bar inserted into the reel’s core. This vehicle can work at heights up to 9 meters, making it suitable for high-shelf storage. Its ability to handle various types of reels and pallets makes it versatile for different manufacturing needs. The vehicle’s autonomy is ensured by advanced battery replacement or charging systems, and a supervisory system manages missions and vehicle allocations dynamically. The Ethernet network, both wired and wireless, supports seamless communication with other company devices and systems.
