The HC-VLS by Wipotec is a high-speed letter weighing system designed specifically for mail sorting facilities. It weighs letters up to 1,000 grams with a precision of +/- 0.5 grams and operates at speeds of up to 4 meters per second. With the ability to run up to three scales in parallel, it processes up to 60,000 items per hour, making it the fastest MID-approved system available. Its vertical transport system ensures that letters stand freely on their longitudinal side, preventing jams and enabling precise weight measurements. Featuring an EMFR Weigh Cell, the HC-VLS provides maintenance-free operation as it contains no wear parts. Active Vibration Compensation (AVC) filters out disruptive vibrations, ensuring accurate results even in non-vibration-free environments. This system is suitable for handling thicker mail items up to 20 millimeters.
