The Empty Can Inspection – IO 700 by Antares Vision is designed to quickly and accurately detect defects in empty cans before they reach the filler. This system reduces the number of jams and ensures the quality of the final product by identifying issues such as scratches, fragments, foreign bodies, deformations, flange width, and ovality/roundness. It employs artificial vision and an optional 360° inspection module to cover both the interior and exterior of the cans. The system is suitable for various can sizes and types and includes an X-ray module for detecting residual liquids. Data analysis, high-speed operation, and production records with picture storage ensure thorough monitoring. The user-friendly interface allows for seamless operation and integration into existing production lines.
