D.e. pressure Ped tested filter for beer

In the brewing industry, achieving crystal-clear beer often involves intricate filtration processes. Brewers face challenges such as handling carbon dioxide presence and ensuring thorough cleaning during and after filtering. These complex tasks require specialized filtration technology to maintain the quality and purity of the final product.

Ensures high drainage flow with crush-proof discs

The D.E. Pressure PED Tested Filter for Beer by Easybrau-Velo (Omnia Technologies) is a high-performance filtration chamber designed according to the European Directive PED. It effectively filters beer even in the presence of CO2 and allows the injection of compressed gases during processing phases. Featuring flat and crush-proof filtering discs from an original Padovan design, it ensures a high drainage flow during filtration and pre-panel formation, while also allowing complete and accurate cleaning during the washing phase. The filtering elements consist of a sheet made from AISI 304 stainless steel with projections that support a filtration cloth made from AISI 316L with 65-micron meshes. This design eliminates the need for a drainage grid, which can be a potential source of contamination. Available models cover filtration surfaces ranging from 5 to 80 square meters, providing options suited to various production scales.

Benefits

  • High drainage flow ensures efficient filtration
  • Flat, crush-proof discs from original Padovan design
  • Complete and accurate cleaning even below the filtration cloth
  • No drainage grid, reducing contamination risks
  • Models available for different production scales
