Cut-sheet laminator for cracker and biscuit production

In commercial bakery operations, producing consistently laminated dough for crackers and biscuits is vital. Achieving uniform sheet consistency is challenging due to varying dough properties and high-speed production demands. Accurate layering and cutting of the dough sheet are essential for maintaining product quality.

Ensures even dough lamination and precise sheet cutting

The Meincke LAM cut-sheet laminator by Bühler is designed for producing laminated dough sheets for various types of crackers and biscuits, including cream crackers, saltine crackers, and hard biscuits such as Petit Beurre and Marie. The laminator uses the cut and lay principle, where the dough is cut to the desired length and then placed onto a discharge conveyor. This ensures even layering and consistent product quality. All rollers can be individually adjusted using independent variable speed drive units for precise control. A color interface allows operators to monitor and adjust all functions from a single screen. Constructed with stainless steel, the machine meets stringent food safety and hygiene standards.
