Crumbler for research and lab use

In research and lab environments, processing a wide range of biomass feedstocks into uniform particles can be challenging. Handling diverse materials like wood chips, hemp, and bamboo requires equipment that is flexible, precise, and has a minimal footprint while maintaining high performance.

Processes diverse feedstocks into uniform particles

The M8L Series of Crumbler® by Forest Concepts is designed specifically for lab and research applications. It accommodates a variety of materials, including wood chips, switchgrass, bamboo, sage, hemp, and agave, processing up to 1/2 wet tons (1/4 dry tons) per hour. Notably, the system operates with both high and low moisture feedstocks without requiring pre-drying, contributing to increased conversion efficiencies. Key features include an 8″ wide infeed capacity, low energy consumption, and smooth, quiet operation. The machine’s small footprint of 44″W X 34″D X 60″H makes it ideal for limited lab spaces. The system offers various cutter-width processing heads, making it easy to produce the specific particle sizes needed for different projects. Additionally, it incorporates user-friendly controls and is available with different power options including 460VAC 3ph, 220VAC 1ph, and 110VAC 1ph. Optional accessories include orbital two-deck screens and additional collection bins.
