Combined septage receiving station for solid waste compaction

Handling septic tank waste requires efficient pre-treatment processes to prevent overloading treatment plants. Typical processes include de-watering of screened waste, sand separation, and grease removal to ensure smooth operation and compliance with environmental standards.

Performs three processes in one unit

The WASTEMASTER TSB 2/3 by WAMGROUP integrates three essential wastewater pre-treatment processes: de-watering and compacting screened solid waste, separating sand, and removing floating grease. Designed with a modular and compact structure, it requires no civil works for installation, making it ideal for locations with limited space. The unit uses shaftless spirals that prevent jamming, features special long-life screw brushes, and enables waste discharge into plastic bags. It efficiently handles flow rates of up to 30 litres per second. The TSB 2/3 model achieves a 40% volume reduction in solids and 90% sand separation for particles ≥ 200 µm, making it suitable for various industries, including food processing, slaughterhouses, and municipal wastewater treatment.

Benefits

  • No jamming with fibrous waste thanks to shaftless spirals
  • Achieves up to 40% volume reduction in solids
  • Compact design requires no civil works for installation
  • Long-life screw brushes reduce maintenance
  • Efficient separation and de-watering processes
