Chip de-oiling centrifuge for metalworking industry

In the metalworking industry, dealing with oil-soaked metal chips can be a significant challenge. Efficiently removing oil from these chips is necessary to maintain cleanliness, reduce waste, and improve recycling processes.

Efficiently de-oil metal chips without transferring parts

The GZ | EK Series by CEPA is a batch centrifuge designed for de-oiling metal chips. What makes this centrifuge unique is its ability to accommodate perforated standard rectangular boxes directly into the centrifuge drum, eliminating the need to transfer parts between processes. Available with drum diameters of 500 mm (GZ 500 EK) and 600 mm (GZ 600 EK), it supports box dimensions of 450 x 300 mm and 500 x 300 mm, respectively. The GZ 500 EK can handle a fill weight of 100 kg and operates at a maximum speed of 1000 RPM, generating a relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 270 g. The GZ 600 EK supports a 150 kg fill weight, operates at up to 750 RPM, and generates an RCF of 180 g. Both models have an operational cycle of 8-10 batches per hour, ensuring efficient processing.

Benefits

  • Direct box insertion minimizes handling time
  • Supports significant fill weights (up to 150 kg)
  • High RCF for effective de-oiling
  • Reduces waste and improves recycling processes
  • Suitable for standard perforated rectangular boxes
