Automatic vegetable corer
In high-volume food processing, removing the cores from vegetables like cabbages and peppers can be labor-intensive and time-consuming, impacting overall production efficiency. Automating this process can significantly reduce labor costs and increase throughput for large-scale operations.

Automates coring and dividing processes
The Multicorer by KRONEN is an advanced system designed for automatically coring and segmenting large quantities of vegetables, including lettuce, cabbage, and peppers. It operates with a maximum product diameter of 240 mm and can process up to 2,400 pieces per hour. The machine is equipped with easy-to-change cutting cassettes that require no tools, allowing for quick adjustments to different product sizes. One person can operate the Multicorer, placing products onto holders that move to a cutting unit where coring and dividing into two or four segments occur. Additional options like a discharge conveyor and a waste conveyor belt ensure efficient handling of processed and waste material. This system is ideal for reducing personnel requirements while maintaining high production capacity.
