With the escalating environmental challenges, the need for innovative solutions to water management has never been more urgent. We met Floriaan van Mechelen from Pantarein Water at Anuga FoodTec. And he told us all about their approach to circular water management.
Reuse water to create a circular environment
Floriaan says that there is a need to change industrial water usage in large factories and a way to do it is by reusing water. The technology from Pantarein Water utilizes reverse osmosis (RO) to purify the water once used in a process. By that, you can remove minerals, heavy metals, and microorganisms from the water. After RO the water is directed back to the production line.
“The approach itself is nothing new,” says Floriaan, but the need for it is more evident than before. In addition to water reuse their experts can help you with both aerobic and anaerobic water treatment and water management in general.
“We are water at your service,” beams Floriaan, as it is also their motto.
