Self-feeding grinder for fresh or pre-broken products
Processing large quantities of tempered or pre-broken frozen blocks efficiently requires robust and hygienic grinding solutions, especially in high-volume environments like food processing plants.
Seamlessly integrate grinding into your production line
The PrimeGrind® 119-SF Self-Feeding Grinder from Cozzini (Middleby) is a versatile choice for processing fresh or pre-broken products into coarse or fine grinds. The heavy-duty, all stainless steel one-piece frame with sloped surfaces is designed for easy sanitation. It features a 3000 lb feed hopper with agitator and an optional loading chute. The grinder is equipped with 11″ (280 mm) diameter plates and a 9″ (225 mm) diameter machined feedscrew. Spring-loaded knife holders with configurations for 2 or 4 blades ensure optimal grinding performance. Safety and convenience are prioritized with features like the swing-away discharge safety guard, local operator station with Start/Stop and Emergency Stop buttons, and accessible motor and components. The continuous barrel flutes through the hopper eliminate dead zones, enhancing product flow. The system also offers an optional bone/gristle elimination system. Compliant with USDA and CE standards and built according to AMI sanitary equipment design principles, the CPG119-SF grinder can process up to 72,000 pounds (32,660 kg) per hour, depending on the application.
