Peripheral traction clarifier with sludge suction for wastewater treatment

In municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, managing biological sludge and floating particles in circular settling tanks is crucial. These tanks often require efficient solutions to ensure clean water output while minimizing maintenance efforts.

Effective removal of biological sludge and floating particles

The PTA Peripheral Traction Clarifiers by WAMGROUP are designed to efficiently manage sludge and floating particles in both primary and secondary circular settling tanks. Utilizing a movable truck that operates on a rotating central support and a traction trolley, the clarifier ensures seamless sludge management. Wastewater enters through a central cylinder, with sludge settling at the tank’s bottom and light particles floating to the surface. Scraper blades on special siphon pipes suction the sludge, while a surface scraper collects floating particles. Available for tanks up to 60 meters in diameter, these clarifiers are constructed from hot dip-galvanized carbon steel, or 304L/316L stainless steel, ensuring durability and high efficiency.
