The AVC continuous motion vertical cartoner is an innovation by CAM Packaging, designed to address medium-high speed packaging needs that horizontal solutions may not adequately support. Featuring closed-profile cams treated for surface hardening, the mechanical components offer reduced maintenance and extended machine life. A unique four-station turret driven by these cams allows for efficient and precise pre-breaking and erecting of cartons. Each station employs suction-cup arms for secure carton opening, regardless of board grammage or format. The system supports a variety of product feeders, making it highly suitable for bottles and jars. A newly patented carton closure system facilitates quick format changes, eliminating fine-tuning and ensuring consistent packaging quality. Additionally, CAM’s Mechanical Memory® system enables rapid size changeovers in under 10 minutes without requiring specialized technical skills.
