Commingled material separator

In recycling facilities, separating mixed waste materials like paper, tin cans, and glass can be challenging and require efficient sorting systems. Without proper separation, the quality of recyclable materials decreases, and processing costs increase.

Efficiently sorts paper, tin cans, and glass

The Lubo Commingled Starscreen from Bollegraaf is designed to efficiently separate mixed waste materials, including paper, tin cans, and glass. The separator is equipped with a screening deck placed at an angle between 38° and 48°, enabling round objects to roll back while small materials like glass fall through. This screening deck can filter out materials as small as 50 mm in diameter. The machine incorporates the Lubo Quick Disconnect System, which allows for quick and easy shaft replacements, minimizing maintenance downtime. Additionally, various star sizes are available to customize the screening deck for specific applications, ensuring that even the most challenging materials are effectively sorted. The hydraulic angle adjustment feature, which can be manually or electro-hydraulically controlled, enables precise adjustments of the screening deck angle for optimal performance. Designed for low energy consumption and minimal maintenance, the Lubo Commingled Starscreen is a reliable solution for enhancing the efficiency of recycling processes. For increased separation capacity, air support can be added to reinforce the upward movement of paper and other materials.
