The KMP 1500 by KUKA is an omnidirectional, mobile platform designed for flexible and autonomous material handling. It employs KUKA’s omniMove drive technology, allowing it to move in any direction with high precision (+/- 5 mm) even in confined spaces. Equipped with integrated safety laser scanners, the KMP 1500 navigates autonomously, ensuring seamless integration into the production process without the need for conventional guidance systems. Capable of carrying payloads of up to 1500 kg, it autonomously fetches and returns components, optimizing warehouse and production logistics. The KMP 1500 features a robust KUKA Sunrise controller, a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack with up to three hours of operation, and wireless interfaces for remote control and configuration. Its modular design allows for optional components, including an electronic lift system and wireless remote control, making it adaptable to various production scenarios.
