The MULTIRAIL IDentify from Schenck Process is an automated system designed for reliable wagon number recognition. Using advanced image processing technology, it captures and recognizes wagon numbers, facilitating seamless input/output control and statistical evaluation of stationary periods. The system can link directly with the MULTIRAIL weighscale to assign weights and provide comprehensive analysis data for each railcar. Operating at speeds between 2 and 15 km/h and temperatures from –15 to +40 degrees Celsius, it ensures accuracy across various conditions. Features include optional data transfer to a superior system, recognition of hazardous materials’ labels, and identification of the dome cover and brake handle positions. Cameras in heated weather-protected casings and LED spotlights ensure continuous operation day and night.
