Animal tissue degradation system for Bsl laboratories
In high-security biological labs, managing animal tissue waste is critical. Traditional methods may be labor-intensive and use significant resources. Efficient, regulatory-compliant alternatives are necessary to handle both the tissues and the potential environmental impact.
Minimize resources for tissue degradation
The third-generation animal tissue degradation system from PRI is an advancement in tissue degradation technology. Using an alkaline reagent alongside heating and stirring, it effectively breaks down tissue while consuming minimal water and reagent. The system eliminates the need for stainless steel baskets and bone removal steps seen in prior models, simplifying operation and saving space. Designed for all biosafety levels, it meets stringent regulatory requirements and features a dry discharge mechanism, which reduces Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) values in the final product, lowering environmental impact. The stainless-steel construction ensures durability, and the system supports a loading capacity ranging from 140 to 5500 kilograms.
