Algae harvest and concentration filtration system
In algae production, efficiently managing the harvest and concentration stages is crucial. Traditional methods like centrifugation and sedimentation can be costly and time-consuming, leading to suboptimal productivity and higher operational expenses.

Streamline algae separation with vibro® technology
The Vibro® technology from Sani Membranes offers an advanced filtration solution designed to optimize algae harvest and concentration processes. Utilizing a Free Flow Plate design, it facilitates high concentrations of algae by providing open and clean channels. This system is particularly effective for fragile algae, minimizing shear stress through vibrations rather than crossflow pumping. Capable of reducing energy consumption by up to 95%, this technology enables continuous microfiltration with uniform transmembrane pressure (TMP). Applications span from autotrophic algae cultivation to high concentration, achieving outputs such as 190 g/l for Nannochloropsis and 290 g/l for Chlorella. Water removed during the process is sterile and can be reused, further enhancing sustainability. The Vibro® units support both lab-scale and industrial-scale operations, making them versatile for various production environments.
