An efficient solution for inserting desiccant into containers

The CVC’s 1112 Canister Desiccant Inserter is designed to sort and dispense desiccant barrels into containers. It operates at a speed of up to 150 bottles per minute and can run independently or be integrated into an automated packaging line. The machine is fully automated, controlled by a programmable logic control (PLC) system and servo motor. It can be programmed to allow the insertion of up to 5 desiccant canisters per container without any additional changing parts.

The Canister Desiccant has a small discharge passage with an insertion gate right next to the bottle opening, for positive insertion of desiccants. It is equipped with precision photoelectric sensors to make its operation extremely accurate. It also has a front safety guard which, when opened allows to stop the machine automatically.

Dehumidify at sub-zero dew points with an air-chilled condensation dehumidifier

AQUASORB dehumidifiers from Seibu Giken function as a Consorb but condense the wet air flow in an air-chilled condensor instead of being lead out. These dehumidifiers have a high dry airflow, which improves the drying effect. It incorporates a next generation, washable, D-MAX silica gel dessicant rotor.

The chassis is made of stainless steel which is especially important in condensing units to prevent corrosion. Aquasorb can operate at dew points below 0°C. The fan for dry air and cool air helps accumulate the energy in the dry air.

Dehumidify medium sized facilities with compact, service friendly, energy efficient technology

RECUSORB RL industrial dehumidifiers are built on the Recusorb R sorption technology from DST Seibu Giken. They incorporate the new generation of high quality, silica gel desiccant D-MAX rotor and integrated heat recycling technology. Heat absorbed during rotor regeneration is recycled to pre-heat and partly dehumidify the incoming air.

RECUSORB RZ industrial dehumidifiers are built on the Recusorb R sorption technology from DST Seibu Giken. They incorporate a silica gel desiccant rotor and integrated heat recycling technology. Heat absorbed during rotor regeneration is recycled to pre-heat and partly dehumidify the incoming air. They are available with electric, steam or gas reactivation.

RZ dehumidifiers have an aluzinc construction and offer multiple PLC control options. They are available in the capacity range 19 – 65kg/h (at 20°C / 60%RH) and dry air flow rate 2,800 – 10,500 m3/h. Some applications include preventing clumping of dried foods during processing, protecting hygroscopic materials in pharma manufacturing, excluding moisture during packaging, extending life of warehoused products and preventing condensation in cold stores and ice rinks. They are also available in an ICE-version with higher process airflow, ideal for re-circulating installations.
