Dedusters
Dedusting can be accomplished by pneumatic means or by dry screening. Considerations for choosing a suitable deduster include the particle size distribution of the pellets or granules, the desired production volume, and the resistance of aggregates to mechanical agitation. Dedusters are used in the food industry for cleaning grains and nuts and in the mineral industry for the separation of dust from granular mineral products. Dedusting is also necessary to clean containers and bottles before filling or keeping dust out of the production machine.
