A tablet press consists of two essential tools, namely dies and punches. It compresses powder or granules into a desired solid substance of uniform size and weight. After filling the dies with powder or granules, upper and lower punches are pressed together within the die hole to form tablets. Then the upper punches come back to their original position while the lower punches help the ejection of the tablet from the dies.
